Enter both addresses. Use a city, ZIP code or street address for pickup and delivery. The calculator finds the driving distance between them.

Add extra services. Choose a packing level, then add flights of stairs and a long carry if the walk from the truck to your door is long. The total updates as you go — open Show breakdown to see how it adds up.
How the calculator prices local and long-distance moves
The driving distance decides which of two methods applies.
Local moves — under 50 miles
Estimated by time. Your total volume sets the crew size, the hourly rate and the starting hours. Stairs and long carries add time. Things that can slow the day — a shared elevator, boxes not packed, significant furniture disassembly, difficult parking, a second stop — are listed separately and are not included in the estimate.
Long-distance moves — 50 miles and more
Estimated by volume and distance. Bulky items such as pianos, safes, pool tables and large refrigerators are priced per item. The price includes a fuel surcharge calculated on the volume and bulky-item charges.
Extra services
Packing — minimal, medium or full — is priced by volume. Extra flights of stairs and long carries apply to both move types.
FAQs
How accurate is the moving cost calculator?
It's an approximate estimate based on the items, addresses and extra services you enter. Item volumes are averages, and some conditions — like a slow elevator or difficult parking — aren't included. A manager confirms the final price after reviewing your inventory, access and move date, with no hidden fees.
What if my item isn't on the list?
Search all categories first. If nothing matches, add the closest item of a similar size and mention the real item when you request a quote.
Why can't the calculator price my move?
Long-distance moves beyond our longest routes or largest loads fall outside the online calculator. It also can't price a move if it can't find a driving route between your addresses. Contact us and a manager will prepare a quote.
